Selection Prosses for Junior Assistant Posts
The selection process includes a competitive written examination and a typewriting test. The typewriting test is only qualifying in nature. The final merit list will be based on marks secured in Paper-II of the written exam.
Exam Pattern Overview: There will be two papers—Paper-I (Mental Ability) and Paper-II (General Awareness and English Language).
Written Exam Pattern: Paper-I (90 minutes)
- Mental Ability Test (General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, Problem Solving) – 100 Questions
- Marks: 200
- No negative marking
Paper-II (60 minutes)
- General Awareness – 50 Questions
- English Language – 50 Questions
- Marks: 300 (Three marks per correct answer, one negative mark for each wrong answer)
